Francisco Manuel Ruiz Iglesias (Violist)



Francisco Manuel Ruiz Iglesias obtained his Bachelor Degree in Violin at 2012 at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Málaga. He finished his examinations with distinction playing Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto. He started his master degree in viola and conducting the year after with Mr. Yuval Gotlibovich in the music superior conservatory of Lugano. 


Francisco Manuel Ruiz Iglesias is the  concert master of Orquesta Sinfónica Provincial de Málaga, of Joven Orquesta Barroca de Andalucía and Ensemble Elegance. He also play with Orquesta Joven de Andalucía.


Since 2013, he is the viola player of Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga.


In 2012, he won the Soloist competition of Conservatorio Superior de Música de Málaga and perform Tchaikovsky’s Violin concerto with the college orchestra.


In 2009, he enrolled in Granada summer festivals with Master Mr. Santiago de la Riva and Mr. Álvaro Arrans and in Málaga with Ms. Shirly Laub.


He has been chosen to attend the master classes from Mr. Alexander Da Costa, Mr. Peter Michalica, Mr. Fabián López, Mr. Gonçal Comellas, inter alia.


In 2010, he was selected to attend to an ERASMUS project. The objective of the project was to construct an European student orchestra to perform Hummel’s Oratorium.
